Whole wheat Plum pudding

Plum pudding is also known as Christmas pudding and traditionally served as a part of the Christmas dinner. This pudding includes so many dry fruits together with egg, alcohol and spices. But today I prepared this pudding without alcohol and egg with whole wheat flour and lots of fruits and dry fruits.

Methods

How to make Whole wheat Plum pudding

1. Prepare the orange juice and soak the raisins, dates and tutti fruitti in it for 4-5 hours.
2. Prepare the spice powder and keep it aside.
3. Also prepare the coarsely powdered almonds.
4. Prepare the bread crumbs.
5. Mix the dry ingredients together.
6. Then add the grated apple, mashed banana,grated butter along with the spices in it.
7. Then add the soaked dry fruits along with the juice and chopped jelly in it.
8. Mix it well. Grease a pot or tin with butter and pour the batter in it.
9. Cover it and steam it in a cooker for 2 hours.
10. Now your pudding is ready. After cooling down completely demould this from the tin on a plate and serve.
