Combin Ragi flour, wheat flour, funnel seeds, cardamom powder, baking powder, and salt In a mixing bowl and make a thick malpua batter Added with sufficient milk. Keep covered for about 10 minutes.

Now make the sugar syrup for malpua. In a sauce pan add suger, water and saffron On medium heat. Keep stirring continuously until the sugar dissolves.

Once the sugar dissolves turn the heat to low and cook the sugar syrup Until you get a one thread consistency. Once the sugar syrup is done keep aside.

Next step to make Malpua. Preheat a pan on medium heat. Add ghee and heat. Pour a ladle full Of prepared batter On the preheated pan. Allow it to cook.

When you notice that the raw batter On the top Is getting cooked Flip the malpua over to cook on the other side. Once done remove from the pan and proceeds to make the remaining malpua.

Now dip the ragi in the sugar syrup of a couple of a second And take it out. Place to Sugar coated ragi malpua on the dessert platter . Spoon some rabdi on the top . Sprinkle some chopped nuts and serve.
