Dil pasand Recipe bakery style

Dil pasand is made with pure ghee in Iyengar bakery. It's very delicious and melt in the mouth delicacy. I tried it at home , and baked in cooker without adding any yeast. It tastes awesome, kids love it.

Ingredients For Dil pasand Recipe bakery style

Methods
  • 1. Take maida in a mixing bowl , add ghee 3 tbsp, curds and baking powder
  • 2. Mix it well and knead the dough leave it aside for 15 min
  • 3. Dough should be soft
  • 4. For stuffing , add dry coconut powder , sugar ,tuty fruity nuts and mix well
  • 5. Make the dough into two parts, one big and the other little small
  • 6. Roll the big ball into chapati keepbaside
  • 7. Roll the small ball into another chapati
  • 8. Place a heap of stuffing , place another sheet on the big sheet to close the stffing
  • 9. Seal the sides applying milk
  • 10. Place it on a flat plate in cooker , based with salt .
  • 11. Cooker should be preheated
  • 12. Brush little ghee on both the sides
  • 13. Close a vessel on the baking dish
  • 14. Taking out whistle ,close the cooker lid tightly.
  • 15. Bake it on a medium flame for 40 minutes.
  • 16. Then check the colour...it should be gold read colour
  • 17. If needed , flip on the other side, brush again with the ghee.
  • 18. Then take it out. Let it cool down
  • 19. Cut into 4pieces
  • 20. It's ready to eat
