  1. Rolled / Instant oats can be used in muesli, oatcakes, granola bars and flapjacks. They can be made into porridge. They can also be added to baked goods such as cookies and muffins. They can be served in milk with sweet and savoury toppings such as fresh berries, sliced avocado, almond butter and greek yogurt.

Description

Rolled / Instant oats are flat, irregularly round, slightly textured discs, a type of lightly processed whole-grain oats. They are dehusked, pre-cooked, dried, and then rolled and pressed. They absorb water much more easily and cook faster into a porridge. They can be thick rolled ( large whole flakes) or thin rolled (smaller, fragmented flakes).They are often the main ingredient in granola and muesli. They can be further processed into a coarse or finer powder. Finer oatmeal powder can be used as baby's food.
